These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Blowout Draft (the "Service"), operated by Blowout Draft ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
A free game of skill — no gambling
Blowout Draft is a free-to-play NFL prediction game. There are no entry fees, no wagers, and no cash or prizes of monetary value. It is a game of skill for entertainment among friends and leagues; it is not a betting or gambling service.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us at help@blowoutdraft.com of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or obscene (including in entry names, mottos, nicknames, or league messages);
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
- probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its security;
- use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as entry names and mottos), and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it within the Service to operate the game. You're responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
Third-party services & data
NFL schedules, scores, and odds are provided by third parties and may be delayed or inaccurate; we don't guarantee them. NFL team names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only — Blowout Draft is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL or any team. We also use Google Analytics; see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Odds are for entertainment only
Any point spreads, over/unders, moneylines, or other betting lines or odds shown on games are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. They are not betting advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to place any wager, and you should not rely on them to make betting decisions. Blowout Draft does not accept, place, or facilitate wagers of any kind. Odds come from third parties, may be delayed or inaccurate, and can differ from those offered by any sportsbook.
Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blowout Draft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
SMS/Text messaging terms & privacy
Blowout Draft offers SMS text messages so you can receive account and gameplay notifications. By adding your mobile number and opting in, you agree to the terms in this section.
What we send
Two kinds of messages: one-time verification codes for signing in (two-factor authentication), and weekly pick reminders that let you know when to draft a team, with a link back to the site to make your selection.
Message frequency & cost
Message frequency varies — verification codes are sent only when you request them, and reminders are recurring (typically up to a few per week during the NFL season). Message and data rates may apply. Blowout Draft does not charge for texts.
Opting in and out
You opt in by enabling text notifications and/or two-factor authentication on your account; consent isn't a condition of using Blowout Draft. Reply STOP to any message to cancel (we'll send one confirmation, then stop), or HELP for help. You can also contact us at help@blowoutdraft.com.
We don't share your mobile number
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. We share it only with the messaging providers that deliver these texts (e.g. Twilio), solely to send the messages you asked for. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes, termination & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use means you accept them. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
